DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. - All lanes of southbound Interstate 85 were reopened Wednesday afternoon, in time for the evening commute.
Two lanes of the roadway were blocked for more than a day and a half due to roadwork on a large sinkhole that had developed.
Workers were doing emergency repairs on the roadway just north of the Clairmont Road exit.
