MARIETTA, Ga. -- An accident involving a school bus is causing delays at a Marietta intersection Thursday morning.
The accident happened shortly before 7 a.m. at Whitlock Avenue and Highway 120 just off the Marietta Square.

Marietta police spokesman David Baldwin said the bus failed to yield while turning left and collided with a passenger car. The car suffered heavy damage.
Forty-six Marietta High School students were on the bus, but none were injured, according to Marietta City Schools spokesman Thomas Algarin.
The driver of the car, whose name was not released, was taken to WellStar Kennestone Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Baldwin said the bus driver was cited for the wreck.
The scene was cleared shortly before 8 a.m.
