Santa Clara, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - San Francisco 49ers tight end Vernon
Davis and safety Eric Reid are questionable for Sunday's road test against New
Orleans, with both players dealing with concussions.
Davis suffered the injury in the second quarter of last week's 10-9 loss to
Carolina after dropping a pass near the goal line. Reid was also injured
against the Panthers when he tried to make a tackle on fullback Mike Tolbert.
Bother players were limited in practice throughout the week and are joined by
wide receiver Mario Manningham (knee), running back Bruce Miller (hamstring)
and linebacker Dan Skuta (foot) as questionable for Sunday.
Defensive tackle Ray McDonald will miss his first game of the year due to an
ankle injury that caused him to miss practice all week, while backup tight end
Garrett Celek is doubtful to play due to a hamstring injury.
