ATLANTA -- They feed thousands during the holidays, helping the community. But Hosea Feed the Hungry needed help getting more turkeys.
They were short in donations, and Monday the CEO of Morrison Health Care Food Services came to the rescue.
President Tim Pierce heard the message this weekend that Hosea Feed the Hungry needed more birds before this year's annual Thanksgiving dinner.
So he reached out to Butterball to help deliver 500 turkeys. That's on top of 350 turkeys several other organizations were able to donate, with the help of former NBA star Dale Ellis.
