Gwinnett County Fire Capt. Tommy Rutledge said the cold weather caused a sprinkler pipe to burst inside a room at the center, causing ceiling tiles to fall. The incident was contained to one room and the nearby hallway.
About 28 residents had to be moved to another building. Rutledge said no one was hurt.
