Meet the US Olympic bobsledding team here.

Meyers, the 29-year-old Lithia Springs High graduate, was in the back seat when she won an Olympic bronze medal in Vancouver in 2010.

For Sunday's trials in Austria, Meyers was in the driver's seat of her 2 woman bobsled.

She was one of 9 women bobsledders competing for 6 slots on the US team today.

Speaking to 11Alive's Duffie Dixon via Skype, Meyers said going back to the Olympics has been her sole focus.

"I knew this time around pretty early on that I'd be going to Sochi, so I've just been concentrating on that. Not just making the team, but performing to the best of my ability once I get there," said Meyers.

There is one more cup race in Germany which will decide the rankings of the team members then they head to Sochi to train.
