ATLANTA -- No one was hurt when a small fire broke out at Jones Elementary School in Atlanta Monday morning.
Atlanta Fire spokeswoman Janet Ward said the electrical fire started at around 8:15 a.m. in a computer somewhere inside the Fair Street school.
Students were briefly evacuated from the building, according to Atlanta Public Schools spokeswoman Kimberly Green. They have since returned to their classes.
No significant damage was reported, but Green said there is a smell of smoke in part of the building.
