Are you seeing a lot of purple on social media today?
Thousands of Facebook and Twitter users are turning their pages purple for World Cancer Day.
For every purple profile picture, Chevrolet will donate $1 to the American Cancer Society.
According to Chevrolet, some 3.6 million people delay or have difficulty getting medical care because of a lack of affordable transportation.
"Action is the strongest way to improve the lives of those with cancer today and help find cures to end the disease tomorrow. Help us finish the fight and purple your profile now," Chevrolet writes on its website.
The Cancer Society's Road to Recovery program helps provide transportation for patients in need.
