Jessica Tiniado from New York
SOCHI, Russia (WXIA) - The Olympics in Sochi are being attended primarily by Russians. We've met people from all over Europe.
But most of the Americans we've met are either working at the Games or they're parents of athletes here at the Games. Still, there are American tourists here and one of them is Jessica Tiniado from New York.
"After all the challenges and frustrations of what one can find here in Russia, it's a great country - many challenges, but a great adventure," she said.
"But you made the choice to come," said 11Alive's Jaye Watson.
"I did, yeah," Jessica said.
"No regrets," Jaye asked.
"Not at all," Jessica said. "I feel very safe. Very, very safe."
Jessica is an Olympic veteran and she says she really struggled with the language barrier at these Games. The other thing she says is that getting from here to the Mountain Cluster and back has been extremely difficult to navigate, but she says it's worth it to her. She loves attending the events.
If you're here right now, you can see any event you want if you have the cash. Tickets range from $50 to $500 - which is for those figure skating events.
