ATLANTA -- Hank Aaron underwent a partial left hip replacement Friday evening after falling on ice earlier in the day.
The surgery was performed by Dr. Scott Gillogly, MD, who stated that the surgery went very well. Aaron is expected to fully recover and should be back to his routine activities in the next 6-8 weeks.
