HALL COUNTY, Ga. -- A jury has found the man accused in the jet ski death of Usher's stepson guilty on five charges, including homicide by vessel.

Jeffery Hubbard, 38, was accused of driving a jet ski when it slammed into an inner tube, severely injuring one person and killing the 11-year-old son of Usher's ex-wife in July 2012.

Hubbard was charged with homicide by vessel, serious injury by vessel and three other misdemeanor boating charges. The trial lasted seven days; it took jurors two hours to find Hubbard guilty on all counts.

Investigators said Hubbard ran into the victims as they were being towed on an inner tube by a pontoon boat near the mouth of Big Creek on Lake Lanier.

Kile Glover died from his injuries six days after the accident. His mother, Tameka Foster, has two other children with Usher.

Foster said nothing will bring her son back, but said she wants to see Hubbard held accountable for his actions.

Sentencing will be March 5.
