Olympic bobsledding silver-medalist Elana Meyers is back in Atlanta...but it was not easy getting here.
After arriving in Washington D.C. Saturday afternoon, Meyers took longer than expected in customs causing her to miss her original connecting flight back to Atlanta.

She was able to get on another flight, which sent her to Charlotte before finally landing in Hartsfield-Jackson Airport.
Meyers tweeted out what her flight schedule looked like late Saturday night: "So if I can pull this off- this will be my travel day: Sochi -> Moscow -> Zurich -> Dulles Airport -> Reagan Airport -> Charlotte -> Atlanta."
Meyers arrived in Atlanta just after 11:30 p.m. to a crowd full of friends and family.
"I'm just so super excited to see anyone here," Meyers said. "The fact that everyone is still here -- so many people from my softball past, my friends and my family are here, so it's pretty awesome."
In personal blog post, Meyers said she felt like she let people down by not winning a gold medal in her event. She said she'll use the second place finish to push her harder next time.
"I feel like it's been quite an experience, quite a trip to remember," Meyers said. "What's been most important is there's a lot of ups and downs this whole time, but I've had a lot of support."
Meyers said she was excited to be home and that she's looking forward to taking some time off.
