The fire broke out at around 3:30 a.m. at the Covenant Professional Building at 12385 Crabapple Road, which contains a dentist's office and one of the offices of Roswell Pediatric Center.
Alpharetta Department of Public Safety spokesman George Gordon said crews arrived at the scene to find flames shooting 50 feet in the air. Twenty-five firefighters worked to control and put out the fire.
Gordon said first responders managed to save two small refrigerators full of common vaccines from one of the offices.
The fire caused extensive damage to the two-story building. Its cause is under investigation. No one was injured.
Firefighters from the city of Milton helped Alpharetta officials put out the fire, according to Gordon.
