APD Looking for Robbery Suspect

Atlanta Police's commercial robbery unit is seeking assistance from the public to identify and locate a bank robbery suspect.

On Friday morning at 10:30 a.m., the suspect went into the SunTrust Bank at 514 Flat Shoals Avenue. He gave the teller a hand-written demand note and showed a handgun inside a light-green bag. He left the bank with an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect is described as a white male, 5-foot-8, about 150 pounds, in his late 30s to early 40s. He had a full beard, and was wearing a green baseball cap, blue short-sleeved collared shirt, blue jeans, and dirty white shoes.
