With the ongoing Michael Vick dogfighting scandal rocking Atlanta and the National Football League, dogs everywhere can now get their taste of the controversy, with the newly-introduced Michael Vick Dog Chew Toy.
The rubber figure of Vick in his Falcons uniform, poised to throw a pass is being marketed by a local group in Jacksonville. The company responsible said in a release this week that they hope to spread light on what they called the "horrendous sport of dogfighting."
Vick was indicted in July on federal dogfighting charges. He has stepped away from his position as Falcons quarterback while the court proceedings are underway. The federal trial is scheduled for late November.
The Vick dog toy is being sold on the Internet for $10.99, plus a $2 shipping charge.
