Any opportunity for sick children and their families to leave their problems behind and enjoy themselves is one embraced with gusto. That?s the inspiration for Children?s Healthcare of Atlanta and the Georgia Aquarium and their Fish Wish program.

Three-year-old Ryan Lewis was born with a heart that wasn?t working right. This past summer, it started giving out.

On August 17th, Ryan got a heart transplant and started living life all over again.

Ryan Lewis and his family got their ?Fish Wish?, a day as a VIPs at the Georgia Aquarium.

Ryan and his family had a happy Thanksgiving, but they must forever remain vigilant. Ryan will take anti-rejection medication for his transplanted heart for the rest of his life.
