Husband Shoots Wife, Son Shoots Husband

Two people were hospitalized Monday morning after a shootout in South Fulton County.

According to police, a woman was being escorted from her home on Leisure Lane to her car by her son when the woman?s estranged husband opened fire, wounding her. She was shot twice in the stomach with a shot gun.

The woman?s son reportedly returned fire, wounding the husband.

The woman reportedly had a restraining order against the estranged husband.

Police have not released the names of any of the people involved in the shooting.

The woman is listed in critical condition at an area hospital. The husband's condition is not known.

There?s no word on whether or not charges will be filed.
