Firefighters Rescue Crane Operator

Atlanta firefighters were called to help a crane operator who reportedly blacked out Thursday afternoon.

The crane operator was working in the cab of his crane, high above a high-rise construction site near Peachtree Dunwoody and Wieuca Roads in Buckhead.

Firefighters were able to get the operator out of the crane?s cab. Firefighters then put the operator on a backboard and lowered him to the ground via a cable.

It is not yet known what caused the crane operator to black out.
