ATLANTA, Ga -- Chesley McNeil has moves. The 11Alive Meteorologist is taking on a new mission outside of the 11Alive Weather Center.
He's spent the last several weeks mastering a new art, ballroom dancing.
It's all for a good cause, to raise money for cancer research.
The American Cancer Society's "Dancing With The Stars" Crusader's Ball is Saturday, November 14, and Chesley is one of the stars who will be cutting a rug!
Members of the local community, survivors and caregivers came together to give the event a makeover for its 35th year and to raise cancer awareness and fight back.
The black tie event includes dinner, late-night dancing, an auction and more, all benefitting the American Cancer Society.
Chesley is raising money and collecting donations. Anyone can donate by clicking here.
"Although each dancers goal is $1000.00, no gift is to small $5, $10, $25, can help, said McNeil.
