MORROW, Ga. -- The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has been called out after a man's body was found while county crews were working to fix a drainage problem.
Clayton County Police said the body was found by members of the Clayton County Water Authority while they were fixing a malfunctioning drain off of Southern Road south of Morrow, Ga.
At this point, police believe the victim was a black male but the body was partially decomposed so they aren't yet sure of an identity.
Authorities called in the GBI to remove the body and take it to the state crime lab for autopsy and to determine his cause of death. Detectives are working to figure out more about the victim's identity and to figure out why his body was found in that location.
