Georgia man charged in Tennessee crash that killed 2

A Georgia man is facing vehicular homicide charges after an 18-year-old and 20-year-old were killed Sunday morning in an alcohol-related crash at the corner of Trenton Road and 101st Airborne Division Parkway.

The Georgia man, Ho Young Kang, was charged with vehicular homicide, vehicle assault, DUI, and failure to obey a traffic signal.

The AP reports Kang is from Suwanee, Ga.

An additional charge is pending, police said.

Clarksville Police did not identify the victims. Names would be released Monday, a news release said.

The crash happened just before 1:30 a.m., and traffic was slow through the area when the crash was being investigated, the release said.

The Associated Press contributed to this report.
