Alpharetta police make big meth bust

A joint operation between multiple agencies led authorities to confiscate nearly 100 pounds of methamphetamine worth nearly $4 million.

Agents with the Alpharetta Department of Public Safety and Atlanta's Drug Enforcement Agency executed a search warrant at an apartment where they found the drugs and 34-year-old Moises Isidro-Jaimes.

Jaimes, according to officials, was a wanted criminal by the Immigration and Naturalization Service and had previously been deported. At the time of his arrest, he had active federal warrants for his arrest.
