Judge won't drop charges in fatal officer-involved shooting

DECATUR, GA -- DeKalb County Superior Court Judge J.P. Boulee' issued an order Tuesday afternoon denying a motion to drop charges against former DeKalb County Police Officer Robert Olsen.

Olsen is charged with shooting and killing Air Force veteran Anthony Hill in March 2015, at an apartment complex, after responding to a disturbance call.

Upon arrival, Olsen found Hill naked and yelling while walking through the complex. Prosecutors said Hill shot Hill when he allegedly advanced on the officer. 

Olsen has been charged with two counts of felony murder, aggravated assault, making false statements, and two counts of violation of oath of public office in connection with the shooting.
