The Gwinnett Co. Gang Task Force and U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) ended a yearlong investigation titled 'Operation Breaking Bad'.
The investigation targeted numerous gang members and drug dealers selling both narcotics and weapons throughout Gwinnett Co. and the metro Atlanta area. The Gwinnett Co. Gang Task Force and the ATF executed simultaneous raids in eight different locations for 34 felony arrest warrants.
Twenty-one suspects had charges coming out of Gwinnett Co. cases and the remaining four suspects had cases coming out of other counties.
During the raid, five additional suspects were arrested and warrants were obtained for them.

The charges for the suspects ranged from possession of marijuana to one suspect being wanted for felony terroristic threats and acts.
Numerous firearms were seized along with 1,400 grams of methamphetamines and over 60 grams of heroin.
Gwinnett Co. Police Chief Butch Ayers said, "This operation shows the vital impact that law enforcement on the federal, state, and local level can have when we work together to make our communities safer places to live."
Police are still searching for several suspects who are also connected to this investigation.
