Police make two arrests in Lilburn bank robbery; one still on the run

LILBURN, Ga. -- Two suspects are in custody after a Thursday afternoon bank robbery but police say one is still on the run.

Lilburn Police said the initial robbery happened just before 4 p.m. at the PNC Bank on Indian Trail at Lilburn Road.

Witnesses described the suspect as a black male wearing a toboggan hat and sunglasses. They said he was armed with a handgun and left with an undisclosed amount of money.

Police were on the scene within one minute of the 911 call but the suspect had already escaped. No one was injured.

However, Lilburn and Gwinnett County police were able to track down and arrested two suspects nearby, but the third suspect, who police believe still has the cash, is still at-large.
