Suspects identified in Steak 'N Shake attack

MORROW, Ga. – Police have identified a man wanted in connection with an assault at a local Steak-n-Shake restaurant in early November.

Johnie Flakes, 48, is suspected of assaulting a Henry County school teacher and her 16-year-old nephew on Nov. 7 at the Mt. Zion Highway restaurant.

Flakes’ wife, Wendy Carroll, was arrested on the date of the incident but police say she has been uncooperative and refused to provide any information on the man who was with her at the restaurant.

Flakes is wanted on aggravated battery charges, cruelty to children, and battery. Police are still looking for him, while Carroll remains in jail on aggravated battery and other charges.
