WANTED: FBI searching for armed suspect in Hogansville bank robbery

HOGANSVILLE, Ga. -- The Federal Bureau of Investigation is searching for a suspect who robbed a Hogansville bank at gunpoint Monday.

According to officials, the suspect entered the bank on 410 East Main Street shortly after 4 p.m. armed with a semi-automatic handgun. Hogansville is about an hour southwest of Atlanta.

Witnesses said the suspect pointed his gun at the bank employees, threatened them and demanded money. The employees handed over an undisclosed amount of money out of fear, officials said.
