Woman arrested after threatening to kill police via Facebook

EAST POINT, GA (WXIA) -- East Point Police have arrested Ebony Monique Dickens, a woman they said had been trying to incite people to kill all white police officers in a social media posting.

According to Cliff Chandler from the East Point Police Department, a person identifying themselves as Tiffany Milan made the post to Facebook at about 6 p.m. on Monday.

Atlanta Police alerted East Point Police of the post once they had determined the post had likely come from that area.

In the post, Dickens makes numerous racist threats indicating white police officers should be killed.

Police said Dickens has been charged with one count of dissemination of information to facilitate terroristic threats. She is being held pending a first court appearance.

FBI and Homeland Security are also investigating Dickens and her Facebook post.

11Alive originally posted the full social media threat but have decided to remove it to avoid spreading Dickens' message.
