"Charlie Foxtrot" invites veterans to resource event on Saturday

Veterans struggle with suicide

11Alive and the Safe America Foundation are inviting all area veterans to attend the “Mission Charlie Foxtrot” Screening and Resource Fair at the Delta Flight Museum on Saturday.

Service members are invited to attend the free reception.  In addition to the theatrical premiere of “Charlie Foxtrot,” Safe America will be leading a Veterans Resource Fair with representatives on hand to discuss options for education, training, housing, counseling and employment.

“Safe America has been doing a great job in providing a single one-stop resource center for veterans and their families,” said WXIA President & General Manager, John Deushane. “We hope that the impact of ‘Charlie Foxtrot’ will spur people to volunteer to help Safe America serve the thousands of veterans in Georgia – and elsewhere – that have served our country so nobly and deserve our support and assistance today.”

The “Charlie Foxtrot” event runs from 5 – 7 p.m. at the Delta Flight Museum, 1060 Delta Blvd. Atlanta.
