ALPHARETTA, Ga -- Firefighters at station 85 got a few visitors while on shift. A group of young people asked them if they could shoot hoops on their basketball goal. They did them one better, laced up and played a game.
The Alpharetta Department of Public Safety posted pictures along with this humorous write up to their Facebook page Wednesday morning. In the post, they wrote "The young ones agreed with the enthusiasm of certain victory, unaware that "old people" played basketball too."
As the tail goes, the 85 crew "educated" the young men about how "age can be a virtue and should not be taken lightly!"
The Alpharetta firefighters' names were "Terminator Turner, Rainmaker Seabolt and Shaq Robinson.
They said they're glad the boys stopped by and are looking forward to a rematch.
