Clayton County dogs in desperate need of adoption

Clayton County dogs face adoption deadline

A group of dogs at Clayton County Animal Control are in desperate need of new homes.

Just about 20 dogs are facing an adoption deadline Tuesday or they are at a higher risk for being euthanized.

According to the animal control center's Facebook page, the dogs listed are in urgent need due special needs, time spent at the center or because they are at risk of euthanasia. The animals who have been at the control center the longest are at greater risk of possible illnesses.

The animals need to be rescued by Tuesday, September 20 at 1 p.m.
