Crews working to fix a leak from a large gas line

Repairs are ongoing.

ATLANTA - Crews are working to fix a gas leak from a large gas line at 914 Collier Road.

According to Atlanta Fire, some buildings have been evacuated and both Atlanta Fire and Atlanta Gas Light are working to fix it.

The address belongs to an apartment complex called The Pointe at Collier Road. The 6000 and 7000 buildings have been evacuated and according to the property manager, Google Fiber was digging when they accidentally struck a gas line.

The leak was called in at 11 a.m. Tuesday morning and crews are on the scene. There is no time estimated for when this will be fixed.
