Forsyth County Sheriff's Deputy Douglas Rainwater said police visited Wilson's house after receiving a tip. When they arrived, Wilson tried to run, but was quickly captured.

Wilson is accused of looking under a dressing room door while a woman was trying on clothes at the Belk at Lakeland Plaza on Mar. 29.

Police released surveillance photos of the suspect and received a tip that the same man was spotted at North Georgia Premium Outlets in Dawsonville a few days after the Belk incident.

In addition to facing a Peeping Tom charge, Wilson is on parole and has been charged with violating it, Rainwater said. He also has a prior Peeping Tom charge.

Wilson is being held without bond in the White County Detention Center.
