Sheriff's deputy charged with fondling victims

FULTON COUNTY, Ga. -- A Fulton County Sheriff's deputy has been charged with fondling women involved in court cases.

Nakia Dorsey, 38, has been indicted on two counts of sexual battery, two counts of false imprisonment and one count of simple battery in two separate cases at the Fulton County Courthouse.

According to the indictment, the first incident happened in October 2011. Dorsey took a 20-year-old woman into a private office within the courthouse, where he detained and fondled her.

In May 2012, Dorsey told a 27-year-old woman that she could reclaim her property if she followed him into a courthouse office. Once inside, he blocked the door, fondled the victim and exposed himself to her, according to the indictment.

The victim in the second case reported Dorsey to the police, which led to investigators uncovering information about the first incident.

Dorsey, a six-year veteran of the sheriff's department, has been placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation. A warrant has been issued for his arrest.
