GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. -- A woman has been arrested after a fatal accident that tied up traffic on Interstate 85 for hours Thursday morning.
Maria Catalina Zelaya Torres, 44, of Norcross has been charged with second-degree vehicular homicide, failure to maintain lane and driving without a license. She is in the Gwinnett County Jail on an immigration hold.

The wreck happened shortly after 7 a.m. on northbound I-85 at Steve Reynolds Boulevard in unincorporated Duluth.
Gwinnett County Police Cpl. Edwin Ritter said Zelaya Torres's Honda Odyssey swerved and clipped a tractor trailer driven by 39-year-old Eric Murray of Minneapolis, Minn. Both drivers lost control and their vehicles slid off the road.
Murray was pronounced dead at the scene. His passenger, 62-year-old Bryant Garrott, also of Minneapolis, was taken to Gwinnett Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. Zelaya Torres was also transported to Gwinnett Medical Center; after being discharged, she was taken to the Gwinnett County Jail.
Four right lanes of I-85 were blocked at the scene for hours as crews investigated the wreck.
