DUNWOODY, GA. - An undercover sex trafficking bust in Dunwoody landed more than a dozen people in jail.
"The goal of the operation was to rescue any victims of commercial sex trafficking and reduce crime as it relates to prostitution," a spokesperson for the Dunwoody Police Department said.
On August 25th, the Dunwoody Police Department, the FBI, and the DeKalb County Police worked with a hotel in Dunwoody for the undercover operation. During the investigation, three people were arrested for pimping. Another 12 were arrested for prostitution. One woman was identified as a victim of sex trafficking.

“The goal of operations such as these is to first and foremost rescue any children or young adults who are victims of sex trafficking. We also want to remove those profiting from commercial sex trafficking by putting them in jail,” Dunwoody Police Chief Billy Grogan.
