Erin Calandra is a multi-media journalist with 11 Alive.
She joined the team in July 2016.
Erin began her career in Bakersfield, Ca. working as a producer at KBAK, and as a producer/reporter at KERO. After that-- she returned home to central Pennsylvania where she worked as a reporter with WTAJ, as an adjunct instructor for the Pennsylvania State University and more recently as a multi-media journalist with WJAC in State College.
While in Happy Valley—Erin exposed a Penn State fraternity accused of running a private Facebook page demeaning women without their knowledge.
She also helped change labeling practices at the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture after an in depth report of finely textured beef, also known as ‘pink slime beef.’
Erin is a proud Pennsylvania State University graduate with a degree in journalism.
When off-air-- Erin enjoys life with her daughter Victoria and husband Bill. She likes to cook, bake, ski, beach-bum, travel and cheer on PSU and all Cleveland sports.
