Man wanted after Goodwill shooting

FAYETTEVILLE, GA. - Fayetteville Police say a 19-year-old who shot someone in the parking lot of a Goodwill store is on the run.  Lt. Mike Whitlow said Dajour Weston is "considered a fugitive at this time."

Weston is wanted for the Oct. 7 shooting in the parking lot of a Goodwill store on Highway 85 in Fayetteville.

Police say eight men were standing around a car at 5:09 p.m. when shots were fired. All of the men, including the victim, fled the scene.

Police found the victim when someone called 911 to report a gunshot victim at a convenience store in Riverdale. Investigators were able to confirm he had been shot at the Goodwill store. The victim was transported to Atlanta Medical Center with a non-life threatening wound.

Several other people from the scene were interviewed by Fayetteville detectives before they obtained warrants for Weston. He's from New York, and investigators believe he's traveling back to that area. Anyone with information is asked to call the Fayetteville Police Department at (770) 461-4441.
