FBI increases reward for missing Cartersville mother

ATLANTA, Ga – The FBI has increased the reward for information in the case of a missing Cartersville mother.

Heather McDonald has been missing since Sept. 18, 2016.

On Tuesday, the agency announced a reward of up to $20,000 for information leading to her recovery and/or the identification leading to the conviction of anyone involved in her disappearance.

McDonald was last seen in the area of US-411 and I-75 in Cartersville around 7 pm. She was last seen wearing yoga pants and a tank top. McDonald's vehicle, a red Jeep Wrangler, was located in the parking lot of the Courtesy Inn on US-411.

McDonald is described as a white female, about 5'2" tall, 105 pounds, with brown eyes and wavy, shoulder length brown hair.
