
An Atlanta firefighter is being hailed as a hero after rescuing a man and his son from a burning car Friday morning in Barrow County.

Jim Kick has blazed the Appalachian Trail in north Georgia literally dozens of times, but when he took a quick weekend trip to try out his new camera, he had no idea he'd have to be rescued 24 hours later.
