Murder suspect considered "armed and dangerous" wanted by Gainesville PD

GAINESVILLE, Ga. - Gainesville Police are searching for an alleged murder suspect who is considered armed and dangerous.

On Friday September 10 around 11 p.m., officers responded to the 900 block of Athens Street where they found a man shot multiple times.

Police say 30-year-old Terry Jerome Maddox, who also goes by "TJ", died on scene. Just hours later, 33-year-old Darvis Donquan Bledson was named a suspect in the case. Police have been working to track him down and is seeking the public's help in finding him.

Bledson is a black male, 5'5" tall, 175 lbs. and has multiple tattoos on the left forearm, the name "Michelle" on his neck, multiple others on chest. Police say he also goes by the name "Tookie." Bledson is believed to be in the Hall County/Atlanta area.
