BARROW COUNTY, Ga. -- A man stabbed another man to death before family members of the victims fatally attacked him with a baseball bat in Barrow County on Tuesday, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation said.
According to the Barrow County Sheriff's Office, 31-year-old Whitney Stovall stabbed 47-year-old Stanley Hugh Ivy Jr. after an altercation at a home at 1168 Old Hog Mountain Road.
Family members, attempting to help Ivy, then attacked Stovall with a baseball bat.

Due to the "complexity of the situation", the GBI was called in to assist in the investigation.
