Georgia girl's black bean burger recipe wins trip to White House

A 10-year-old girl from Georgia attended a big dinner at the White House on Friday.

Michelle Obama hosted the "Kids State Dinner" for 54 children from every U.S. state, territory and the District of Columbia -- all winners of the First Lady's recipe contest to promote healthy eating.

Mira Solomon was Georgia's winner. She submitted a recipe for a black bean burger with avocado spread. Over 1,500 meals were entered into the contest.
