Gwinnett apartment fire displaces 14

DULUTH, Ga – Ten adults and four children were left homeless Monday morning after a Gwinnett County apartment fire.

The fire broke out around 8:45 at the Riverbend Apartments on Peachtree Industrial Boulevard. Firefighters had the blaze under control about 45 minutes later, according to the Gwinnett fire department.

No one was injured, but fire department officials said two cats were killed in the blaze.

The cause of the fire is under investigation. Approximately three units were damaged.
