ATLANTA - Marta passengers at the Midtown station were evacuated from a train after smoke was detected inside of the terminal.
Sgt. Cortez Stafford with Atlanta Fire-Rescue said the cause of the smoke is due to hot brakes on the track.
Eric Burton, a Marta spokesperson, a single-track was running, but normal services will be phased back in as soon as possible.
The disruption caused a 10 to 15 minute delay.
