ATLANTA -- Detectives went door-to-door in a southwest Atlanta neighborhood, Tuesday, as they searched for new clues in the murder of Bridget Shiel.
Back in May, the 19-year-old’s body was found dumped in Oakland City park after a gunman shot her with what police described as “radically invasive bullets."
Investigators have been searching for two men, since, who were last seen with Shiel at a DeKalb County gas station just hours before she was killed.
Police are hopeful, even months later, that there's still a good chance to pick up new leads.
"There may be someone who now, four months later, it may have been on their mind and they're just ready to release it and give us a nickname, or by now someone has talked about it or may be bragging about it, 'Hey I got away with it,'" Lt. Charles Hampton said Tuesday, as investigators canvassed the park.
If anyone has any information on the murder of Bridget Shiel, they’re asked to call Crime Stoppers. Tipsters can remain anonymous and earn a reward up to $10,000.
