Vigil held for victims in fatal Little Five Points shooting

ATLANTA – Community members gathered Saturday night to remember the lives of two men gunned down last week in Atlanta's Little Five Points.

Joseph Hruska, 33, of Atlanta, and Chaitanyalila D. Kelsey, 32, of Atlanta. were shot and killed in the early hours of March 14.

Surveillance video from a local bar shows the two men holding the door open for other patrons and smiling. Moments later, they were shot and killed in a parking lot behind the Vortex Bar and Grill. People nearby heard shots and discovered both men on the ground.

A silent auction was part of a fundraiser Saturday to help pay for the costs of the funerals..

Atlanta police are circulating surveillance video of four suspects wanted for two robberies on the same night as the murders of Kelsey and Hruska.

The three crimes happened within a mile and within about 15 minutes.

Police say timing and proximity are hard to ignore, and until they can rule them out completely they're possible suspects in the murders as well.
