Man who drowned in Lake Peachtree is identified

It happened at Lake Peachtree

PEACHTREE CITY, GA.,-  A man who drowned Sunday night has been identified.

Peachtree City Police responded to Lake Peachtree after a call of a possible drowning.  When they arrived, the caller told police her boyfriend, James A. Coverson, went underwater and never resurfaced.

Coverson was located in the water and emergency crews began CPR.

The 32-year-old from Luthersville, GA, was pronounced dead a short time after arriving at Fayette Piedmont Hospital.
