Kennesaw child molester to serve 25 years in prison

MARIETTA, Ga – A Kennesaw man who pled guilty last week to child molestation will serve 25 years in prison.

Eric Burton Eisenbach, 45, is already serving a state prison sentence for computer pornography and sexual exploitation of children convictions out of Catoosa County.

On Friday, before his Cobb County trial was set to begin, Eisenbach pled guilty to aggravated child molestation and child molestation against a young girl between 2007 and 2008.

In 2012, when she was seven, the girl said Eisenbach had molested her several years earlier while she was at his home in Kennesaw. Eisenbach was a friend of the family, and the victim’s mother would take the child to his home to be watched by Eisenbach and his wife when she had to work late.

“The resolution in this case brings closure to this child after nearly a decade, and spares her the trauma of having to go through a trial,” said Cobb ADA Courtney Veal. “It also ensures that this defendant will not be able to victimize another child in our community.”

Cobb Superior Court Judge Reuben Green sentenced Eisenbach, who will spend the rest of his life on probation after his sentence is completed.
