Winning Mega Millions ticket sold in Marietta

ATLANTA, Ga -- A single winning ticket sold in Georgia matched all six Mega Millions numbers drawn Friday night.

The five white balls drawn were 31, 32, 49, 55 and 58, plus the gold Mega Ball 15. The winning ticket is worth an estimated $82 million and was sold at the White Water Chevron on South Cobb Parkway in Marietta.

The jackpot had been rolling since it was last won in Texas on Oct. 11. Since that last jackpot win, there have been more than 10.6 million winning tickets sold at all prize levels, including nine worth $1 million or more.

It marks the eighth Mega Millions jackpot won this year, following earlier wins on Jan. 8 (New York), March 8 (Washington), July 8 (Indiana), July 19 (Washington), July 22 (split between Georgia and Virginia), Sept. 16 (Illinois) and Oct. 11 (Texas).

The jackpot resets to $15 million for the next drawing on Tuesday, Nov. 22.
